In DARIAH-DE, the EPIC PID service is available as a trustworthy Persistent Identifier service. This service makes it possible to create, manage, and resolve so-called HANDLE identifiers. The PID provision and consulting has constantly evolved in relation of the eResearch Alliance in Göttingen and within CLARIAH-DE.
