The enlightened Spectator press - also known as Moral Weeklies - of the 18th century constitutes an important cultural heritage of the world. Based on the existing text corpus of the digital edition (http://gams.uni-graz.at/mws) – a project cooperation of the Institute for Romance Studies and the Centre for Information Modelling, both University of Graz, since 2010 – this proposed project aims at investigating this multilingual corpus with computer-aided methods of text-mining.
