Agenda for the Workshop, 2 February 2017 Location: Trinity Long Room Hub, Trinity College Dublin Neill Lecture Theatre 9:30 Arrival and Coffee 10:00 Greetings and presentation of the day’s agenda 10:15 Brief introductions of the participants 10:45 Presentation of the data reuse charter: considerations and work to date 11:00 General discussion regarding improved interaction and cooperation between relevant actors (cultural heritage institutions, researchers, data centres, infrastructures and other facilities) 11:45 Presentation of draft concept for a data charter website and discussion of related design questions 12:30 Lunch break 13:30 Break out group discussions (three topics) • Institutional Requirements: This group will focus on organisational restrictions and motivations within CHIs that the Charter concept must take into account • Use Cases: This group will suggest concrete scenarios in which the Charter could have a distinct added value, and what elements must be integrated in order to facilitate such contributions • Relationships to the Researchers: This group will look at how the Charter can be implemented to facilitate better interaction between CHIs and researchers in the current environment 14:15 Reports from the break out groups 14:45 Coffee Break 15:15 Plenary discussion: Issues arising from the discussion, implementation strategies, modes of involvement in the further development of the Charter, fostering of best practice, etc. 16:00 Workshop Close: Review of the day and next steps, including feedback mechanisms
