Description:

This one-day workshop was held in Heraklion, Crete, on Friday, 28th September 2018. Its principal goals were (i) to introduce the members of the Working Group to the BBTalk and BBT-Browser, i.e. the tools developed for maintaining the BackBone Thesaurus (BBT), to test their applicability and verifying their functionality in real use, (iii) to identify and semantically validate missing hierarchies from the BBT), to discuss the involvement of the Working Group in the maintenance of the BBT, by means of establishing the rules of engagement in this activity and (v) to advocate for the use of the BBT in order to augment its user base.
