The master, professional and research, founded and directed by F. Stella, represents a pilot educational experience in Italy for the training of scientific and professional figures able to work with informatic tools on ancient and modern documentary, book and text material, to process and manage digitization projects in archives and libraries, and to manage the production of digital books and periodicals for publishing houses. Prepares three-year or magistral graduates for the design and creation of digital editions of books and magazines, the coding of archives, the creation of digital libraries, the digitization of ancient prints and manuscripts, the design of websites for cultural institutions and collaboration in the editorial offices digital newspapers and publishing houses. It has a duration of 12 months; provides frontal teaching modules, an internship and a final exam consisting in the presentation of an electronic project.
